PlayDose is built around one promise: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. PlayDose has no account, no servers, no cloud database, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.

What's stored on your device (and only your device)

To make the app work, PlayDose saves the following locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage:

• Your setup choices (number/ages of children, your space, play preferences).
• Your play history, favorites, and settings.
• Anonymous on-device usage counters used only to show you your own gentle progress.

This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or anyone else. You can export or permanently delete all of it at any time in Settings → "Delete all my data".

Children's privacy

PlayDose is designed for parents, not for children to use on their own. We do not create child accounts and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is parent-facing and stores no child-identifying data off the device.

Purchases

The optional one-time "Lifetime" unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchases can be restored via the App Store.

Notifications

The optional evening reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It contains no personal data and is never sent through any server.

Future AI features

If AI features (e.g. "Room Scan") are added later, any photo you choose to use will be sent directly to the AI provider you select, using your own key — never to our servers — only with your explicit consent, and not stored by default. This policy will be updated before any such feature ships.

Your rights

Because everything is on your device, you are always in full control. Export your data, or delete all of it, anytime from within the app.
